Who we are
A foundation built on hope and service
HONETA Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Abuja, Nigeria, committed to empowering vulnerable communities. Founded by Media Professional & Activist Ujah David Abakpa, we provide humanitarian aid, equip youths and women with employable skills, promote education, and advocate for social justice and good governance.

To be a leading Pan-African network that restores hope and transforms vulnerable communities into empowered, self-reliant and socially just societies.
What we do
Four pillars, one purpose
Every programme HONETA delivers belongs to one of these four pillars, and each one is designed to outlast the project that started it.

Relief & Charity
Providing humanitarian aid, food support and emergency relief to widows, orphans, IDPs and vulnerable families across Nigeria.

Youth & Women Empowerment
Agribusiness, Tailoring, Baking, and Skill-up Bootcamps in Digital Media, Graphics Design and Video Editing, plus start-up kits and micro-grants to turn skills into businesses.

Education
Back-to-School Project, literacy clubs, mentorship, and scholarships for indigent children to keep them in school.

Advocacy
Championing social justice, human rights, civic education and good governance through community townhalls and media campaigns.
